Small men's group

menALIVE encourages men to connect regularly in groups in their local communities to accompany and support each other in their faith and life journeys based on fellowship and listening to God and each other through scripture.

These are ongoing groups of men who meet regularly to listen to God in scripture and each other to nourish and support their faith and life journeys. 

Any Christian man can join a menALIVE reCONNECT group. The groups are self directed and meet weekly or fortnightly on a regular basis.

Listening to God and each other through Scripture

The cornerstone of each reCONNECT gathering is time spent praying with, and reflecting on Holy Scripture using a four step Lectio Divina method referred to in menALIVE as SOAP (Scripture, Observation, Application, Prayer) method.

reCONNECT groups seek to inspire and empower each person to grow in Christian maturity in a safe, non-judgmental and welcoming environment where mutual trust, support, and friendship between group members develop, and allows for building healthy relationships.
